24th Annual Pikes Peak Special Rodeo
The Pikes Peak Special Rodeo is presented by the Pikes Peak Range Riders and the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. All proceeds from this event benefit the Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center (CSTRC) and StableStrides.
The mission of this event is to raise awareness of our two local therapeutic riding centers, the Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center (CSTRC) and StableStrides, and assist them with their fundraising efforts. Individuals with special needs will promote our western heritage and showcase the therapeutic benefits of horses to the residents of the Pikes Peak region through friendly competition in fun rodeo games. This event is free to the contestants and the public.
Due to the coronavirius pandemic, the 24th Annual Pikes Peak Special Rodeo was cancelled. We are deeply sadden to cancel this event, but for the safety of our riders and the public, we thought it was best.
We plan to host this inspirational event in 2021. Please check back next year or follow their Facebook page to stay up-to-date on future announcements.
Western Heritage Spirit of Colorado Springs
The ProRodeo Hall of Fame is proud to be apart of the Western Heritage Spirit of Colorado Springs committee, a group of local organizations dedicated to keeping the western spirit alive. The committee sponsors a calendar of western events, western silhouette contest, coloring contest and a mixer.
More information about the committee and promoted events visit either their website or their Facebook page.
